Fighting.

For it? Against it?


My 4th line in our SIM league tells you all you need to know about what I think about Fighting.

I'm all for it as long as its not staged i cant stand that stuff. I understand when emotions get heated people get pissed off or you stick up for a teammate and drop the gloves thats great stuff, but the whole having guys on your team that are completely useless other then the fact they can hit and fight is dumb, its starting to fade out but you still see guys like C.ORR for example asking a guy to fight and them droping the gloves and the stupid thing is if he jsut forcus on playing hockey hes not a bad 4th liner to have.

So im all for it as long as its strictly a heat of the moment fight.

i love it, but it depends on the situation in my opinion. Yes Id rather heat of the moment, but if a guy is a goon and cheap shots your player and gets the misconduct, the next game, he gets it. He needs to learn you dont F with your star players. I think guys take more risk because they dont care about getting suspended or its a chance they will take because the team is weak. You do that with cgy and mcgratton gets ahold of you good luck!

I've always been a big fan, one of my favorite players of all time was Bob Probert. That said, the older I get the less patience I have for guys who don't do it right.

Take Chris Neil, who in the middle of a blowout loss decideds now is the itme to try and fight a guy just coming back from multiple concussions. Back in the 80's Probie or Kocur would have ended his career for crap like that. The worst was later, when he was chripping to the media saying Franzen a guy who's never fought was "yellow" for not fighting. Grow up.
