Interesting stat on trades and thoughts of season 1

while everyone seemed quite comfortable with there teams in season 1 of wtp legend continues here's an interesting stat.  There were a total of 56 trades made.

Fear had 23 trades putting him at %41 percent of all trades.
Tommyboy had 27 trades putting me at 48% of all trades.

Im quite shocked that Glenny did not beat us combined!! congrats to him!!!    Fear congrats on us being trade whores once again!

Season 1 Shocker - THE FLAMES!?!?! wtf? seriously dude, a 78 goalie and flames sit in 5th going into the last sim.  Well done sir.. well done lol.

Runner up - dubinek...  Also wtf!!!!! kryp you keep this up and im going to make you work harder at work! haha jk.  Some doubted your trades, and you even tried to pond dubby off to anyone that breathed.  You stuck with him and it paid off.  The combo of toews (or toes as you call him, seriously get it right already!) and sharp have proved to be quite the duo...

Im also kind of shocked on how well the leafs did this year.  Looking at them I didn't think much but yet they were in first for a bit of the season and backstrom put up less then a 2.00 GAA. BACKSTROM!? damn those finn goalies!!!!  

who I expected more from?  2 gms come to mind.  TheButcher (themasterpiece or tmp as most of you know him as) didn't make many moves at all.  He chose teams that were pretty well balanced and finally made a move after me texting him all the time lol.  I expect to see more from him next year.  This is the gm with the patience of turtle speed so we will see!

Gm Glenny - Some of you vets dont know this cat from the legends league, but let me tell you something, this guy can trade more then wall street with his eyes closed.  Not too sure what glennys been up to, but just you guys wait, this guy will be knocking on your doors and cycling his guys until he gets exactly what he wants! look forward to seeing what season 2 brings us from him!

Colt- Colthorn hasnt been on too much this season, but id expect him to be on a bit more come season 2.  This aged leaf fan vet knows his stuff and drives a hard bargain  His edm team has only improved since trading ovechkin and that boston team is a shock not in a playoff spot.  After two days of texting and talking about price moving he finally switched it up and i guess we shall see how it pays off after the final sim..    My guess, its my luck that when I trade a guy he ends up doing well.  IE malkin, crosby, sharp etc.  So im betting schneider does that team just fine!


It's been nice dealing with Magicman, zetty, biohazard and heisenberg among you others (or have i mentioned everyone), and I look forward to playoffs and next season!

Yeah I wasn't expecting my team to do this well, but I guess my building model works with this group of players! Hopefully I stay in the playoffs!

It was a good 1st season some big surprises for sure. I will have the results up after the canada sweden game. I know a lot of guys are looking forward to free agency,its a new system so will be very interesting how it pans out

Are you posting up the 1st round then next day round 2 and 3 then next cup final again?? I liked that way. Builds a bit of suspense!

Well guys as you might see I was trying my best to get the BLues into the dance but just came up short a point or two here or there and I would of been in.............Made a few trades to try and help me get there but season 2 will be a different tune.. As for Tampa well 2 worst team in league does this team get a good pick or something for being this bad........I will have to get to work and see what I can dig up trade wise for this team.....I will be knocking on your doors guys to try and improve both my teams for the new season. Thanks again to the league head guys for allowing me to be a GM in here
