Predictions? Thoughts on the recent trades?

Jiri Sekac and D.Smith Pelly is a pretty crazy deal for two young kids. Reminds me of Hodgson for Kassian.

It's probably going to be a boring deadline. Who's the best most highly coveted player available? Sekera?

Lots of re-signing. Maybe a leafs rebuild/tank?

winnik just got traded and leafs get a 4th this yr and a 2nd next yr plus a prospect from Pittsburgh.

Tlusly also traded for a 3rd and 5th to winnipeg.

Now if calgary can just trade glencross and get something decent that'd be great!

I like the deal for the Leafs. Helps them tank too. Tlusty is crap so dunno about that, but these two guys were some of the top guys available.

3rd and 5th? thats not too bad. But I guess I understand your point. All these trades only help calgarys chances of trading glencross i believe. Hope they can get more now because of all this.

i hate that the leafs team blows so much they need to trade guys like santorelli and winnik they were 2 of there best players this season but so far im pretty impressed in what the leafs have gotten for a few soon to be ufas

i laugh at the people complaining about the leafs keeping the 50% of winnek. Who cares. He's done at the end of the season anyways, that 600k for the 2nd round pick is more than fair.

Anyways the big fry Sekera going to LA for a 1st and a prospect. Depending on the prospect, that's a good price i guess.

leafs have gotten great returns! GM is doing a good job.

This year will be the 1st time in like 10 yrs i will be working amd not able to follow anything......but every year i take the day off and get all excited to see what happens and am dissapointed
